Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 PLUS 33 days holidays (including bank holidays), Employee Recognition awards and bonuses and more.
You will be part of our client’s Restructuring & Recovery (Insolvency) team advising all types of clients, from individuals to companies and partnerships, in a range of industry sectors; working together towards business restructuring and recovery.
You’ll get to work with some of the leading professionals in the insolvency field and build a career that could take you to Supervisor, Manager and beyond. This position is to join our client’s small and close-knit team in Maidstone.

Qualifications, skills and experience
- Proven success managing a varied case load in an insolvency/restructuring & recovery practice
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrable attention to detail
- The foresight to see issues before they occur and implement effective countermeasures
- A proactive approach to work
- Make great efforts to achieve results
- Builds strong relationships with all stakeholders, acts with maturity, respect and integrity at all times
- Basic competence utilising MS Office applications
- A sound knowledge of IPS would be preferred
Responsibilities
- Full lifecycle management of a high-volume portfolio of cases (50+) to include a variety of both corporate and personal work
- Maintain fully accurate case files, ensuring they meet with statutory requirements
- Effective communication with a range of stakeholders (internal & external) creditors, debtors, directors, solicitors and other professionals
- Liaise with manager/ director/ partner on case progress and escalate contentious issues to senior staff
- Investigation into and reporting on the conduct of directors and the reasons for failure
- Supervising/training more junior members of staff
- Case reviews/ checklists maintained and up to date
- Tasks completed to deadlines set both internally and externally
- Prepare reports and written work with minimal supervision
- Attend site on jobs, if necessary
- Understand the impact of write-offs and recovery rates on stats and targets, monitor budgets, fee estimates and WIP
- Any other duties the manager delegates
