The role of the Head of Business Development will be to Manage and cultivate new business opportunities and bring in revenue for the bank.
To maintain and develop business relationships with existing and prospective customers;
To monitor designated accounts portfolio for managing the overall credit risks;
Provide coaching for subordinates through on job training;
To promote and enhance the Bank’s reputation.
This role will be reporting directly to the General Manager and the right person will need to demonstrate that they have the experience of motivating, coaching and leading a team to achieve goals and deliver excellent customer service. They will be responsible for business development, formulating strategy and implementation. Will be required to review policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and bank standards. Should have good planning and organisational skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
The candidate must be a fluent speaker and writer in Cantonese with Mandarin an added advantage.
Knowledge in relation to TFD:-
practical knowledge and understanding of issues associated with documentary credit practice and general banking services
Good knowledge of UK banking practice and relevant regulation;
Familiar with the Chinese niche market as most of the customers coming from Chinese community;
English and Chinese language skills. |
