A User Experience (UX) Designer / Product Manager is required to take ownership of the entire User Experience within our client’s class leading Data Integration products. This role will represent all aspects of an end-user's interaction with our client’s products and services, championing user-centric design goals and consistency of approach in all product development endeavours.

Functional or Technical Knowledge and Skills Required
· Understands the fundamentals of UX design as a discipline
· Experience in the design of sophisticated browser based productivity tools used by technical power users as well as less technical end users
· Experience producing detailed designs for development teams to implement using best of breed Wireframe tools
· Experience as a Full-stack designer: can assist with all dimensions of design – research, usability evaluation, information architecture, wireframes, visual, CSS and HTML
· Understanding to modern browser UI frameworks
· Has worked in an Agile development environment with fast paced release cycles
Key Areas of Responsibility
User Experience Guidelines and Criteria
· Help define the overall strategy for UI/UX
· Define and communicate the general acceptance criteria for any technical work that interacts with a customer touch-point
· Provide best-endeavours consistency between the various different services our customers interact with, including (but not limited to): product launch experience via AWS, GCP and Azure marketplaces, the product itself, the support site, the documentation site
User Journey Definitions
· Define and manage the collaborative process of developing user-journeys as part of an iterative agile development process
· For key customer use-cases, define the ideal workflow for that use-case, compare it to the current workflow and raise any required improvements
· For any Engineering development task that is customer-facing (most of them), provide advice on the workflow, screen layouts and flow, mockups etc
User Interface Design Guidelines and Criteria
· Define and communicate the general acceptance criteria for all user-interface work
· Spot inconsistency in the current product and raise tickets to make them consistent
Prioritise competing development tasks
· Improved UX workflows can be prioritised according to their value (based on ARR Levers, Utility and feature usage)
· Bug Fixes can be prioritised according to their Severity and Impact
· Feed into Release Planning sessions and ongoing review sessions to give visibility to the wider business of the current state of the UX
· Work with the R&D Manager to provide competitor analysis as it pertains to UX
Product Marketing Liaison
· The UX Product Manager contributes to the Product Marketing team, communicating the product roadmap vision for UX and providing content for areas such as Product Documentation
· To collaborate with Product Marketing to understand and document the personas, particularly end-user personas, encountered in our ecosystem in order to help Product Marketing best promote our offerings with regard to user experience
· To understand and document the user-experience experienced in various competitor tools and how they overlap with the company

Hours of work: Flexitime is offered BUT core hours are 10.00am to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday - 7.5 hours per day
