Salary: £21,000 pro rata

A rare and exciting Part Time opportunity for an Inventory / Supply Chain Analyst has arisen with our client based in Milton Keynes.
 
You will be responsible for monitoring spares inventory levels to ensure the right mix and quantity of product is in the right place at the right time.
 
You will monitor spares inventory levels are meeting demand and develop strategies to reduce backorders and slow moving inventory. Works collaboratively across the local and global business to improve business effectiveness.
 
Key skills required:
 
·         Competence in Inventory Management – Previous experience in inventory management or supply chain management essential
·         Commercial acumen, strong financial understanding and analytical skills as well as being customer focused
·         Excellent communication skills – verbal and written communication skills are clear and concise
·         Strong Project planning and management experience
·         Tech Savvy and capability around:
·      ERP software’s (JDE/SAP/AX…)
·      Excel Skills – Intermediate to Advanced Level
·      Forecasting tools
·      Data Cleansing
·      Reporting and analytics (e.g. Power BI)
·      Learning new systems quickly
·         Experience in IBP/S&OP cycle and key activities would be highly desirable not essential
 
Responsibilities
 
·         Liaise with the Global Supply Chain Team to ensure all the spare parts are set up in the system correctly and in a timely basis. Assist in the set up if required.
·         Review the monthly forecast and feedback any changes if needed.
·         Review and maintain the Reorder Points of the parts.
·         Raise Purchase Orders from external suppliers.
·         Work alongside the warehouse to monitor, flag up and correct any discrepancies before the arrival of the goods.
·         Review and maintain the appropiate levels of inventory to deliver the right product at the right time.
·         Identify and contribute to plans to reduce back orders, slow moving and obsolete stock.
·         Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly spares inventory reporting.
·         Review KPIs and prepare plans for improvement.
·         Liaise with the Finance Team to ensure the parts are costed and priced correctly.
·         Continually review the current processes and communicates with the rest of the teams to ensure collaborative workflows exist.
·         Collaborate with the Global Supply Chain for continuous improvement opportunities, and communicate in-market activities that may impact the wider supply chain.
Provides general support to the UK and Ireland Supply Chain team with ad hoc tasks.

Salary: £21,000 pro rata
Job Type: Part Time – Temp to Perm
Hours of Work: 25 hours per week – preference from the client for 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday but there MAY be flexibility for 4 days a week – Would suit school hours 9.30am to 2.30pm for example
