Current or previous roles you could / could have held are: Support Analyst, Helpdesk Analyst, 1st Line Engineer, Technical Engineer, IT Support Engineer and Helpdesk Engineer.
Qualifications:
Minimum IT Hardware and Networking at College level
Key skills are as follows:
· Windows 7, 8 & 10 Administration & Support
· Active Directory Administration, new user setups (User Accounts, MS365 Mailboxes)
· Basic Networking knowledge covering Local Area Networks, Switches & VLan’s
· Understand cabling needs for IT/Telephone System
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Ability to quickly learn new applications and technologies
· Able to install, configure, upgrade and relocate PC hardware, software and print devices
· Experience of Windows 7, 8, 10, Office 2016 problem solving
· Experience of PC hardware troubleshooting and problem solving
· Microsoft 365 experience an advantage
Key responsibilities:
· First point of contact for anyone in the company seeking technical assistance
· Responsible for handling support of requests which relate to all technology including; workstations, servers, printers, networks, and system accounts
· Managing the day-to-day operation of the varying backup solutions in place
· Provide remote and telephone support for client networks and applications
Key Competencies:
· Self-driven and highly motivated
· Able to build on their expertise in the support sector and complement the existing support team
