Description

Salary: up to £45,000

Our client is the UK’s leading supplier of Hospital Medicines Management Systems (Pharmacy Stock Control, Electronic Prescribing and Medicine Administration,
Chemotherapy Management System), and they have a vacancy for a Support Developer.
 
Their impressive customer base accounts for around half of the NHS and includes some of the UK’s leading teaching hospitals as well as customers in Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland and South Africa.
 
Job purpose
 
The Support Developer is required to manage and fulfil a variety of roles aimed at providing business support across current and planned commercial areas of business activities.
 
You will need to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail together with analytical thinking and the ability to deal rapidly and effectively with complex issues.
 
You must possess the ability to work independently, although teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential.
 
Job description
 
·         Analyse customer software issues
·         Fix customer software issues
·         Liaise with Customer & Technical Services regarding customer software issues
·         Liaise with customers directly and through Salesforce regarding software issues
·         To be able to analyse and correct existing code
·         To be able to enhance existing software
·         Unit test software functionality
·         To interpret and code functionality from Jira tickets and specifications for releases and service packs
·         Software documentation
 
Key skills
 
·         InterSystems Cache/IRIS Database skills with ObjectScript development experience – training will be given where necessary
·         SQL, VB .NET or C#
·         Atlassian Jira, Salesforce
·         Healthcare Experience
 
Preference will be given to candidates with the additional job skills:
 
·         ASP .NET, HTML 5, CSS, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Knockout.js, VUE
·         Git/Atlassian Bitbucket
