Salary: up to £55,000
Our client is a healthcare software development company that build and deliver market leading applications in the integrated care record and population health space. A “Cloud First” organisation, they are one of Microsoft’s largest UK healthcare data customers with a variety of Azure services and technologies embedded across their suite of solutions. They’ve recently been awarded “Outstanding” by Best Companies, earning a top 100 spot in the mid-sized companies’ category. Our unprecedented growth over the last year has seen our test teams growing in number and we are seeking a talented individual to join our development team as an Azure DevOps Engineer.
You will join an experienced and cross dimensional team operating under a Scaled Agile framework, with access to a range of industry leading tools and plenty of opportunities to grow and increase your skillset.
The person they are looking for will need to have 2+ years enterprise experience with Azure, who can demonstrate a real passion for cloud with a flexible and creative attitude, good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
Working at the sharp end of the existing DevOps team, the individual will have a strong influence and diverse workload covering (but not limited to):
o Working within the existing DevOps team, the individual will have a diverse workload covering (but not limited to):
o Developing and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines
o Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and advising on how they could be used to better the existing architecture, either from a performance or cost perspective
o Automation of infrastructure and software rollout
o Performance analysis and tuning
o Security assessment analysis and remediation
o Maintaining high availability of services

Experience & Skills Required:
· A thorough understanding of Azure components. Key areas:
o AKS
o App Services
o Functions
o Networking
o App Insights
· Proven experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
· Solid understanding of
o Terraform (desired)
o HELM charts
o PowerShell
Advantageous:
· Healthcare or Government related industry experience
· Understanding of interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR
· Understanding of JIRA and Confluence
Qualifications:
· Microsoft certification(s) in Azure
Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer
Location: Homebased (client Head Office is Milton Keynes – you will be expected to visit this site and their site in Canterbury no more than two visits a month)
