Salary: £23,000 to £30,000
This role is key to ensuring the group supplier invoices are paid accurately and on time. The role purpose is to process all supplier invoices for the group, from setting up supplier on the accounting system through to payment, ensuring invoices are paid to terms, in line with procedures and queries resolved. This role is key to the company ensuring supplies of goods and services are not disrupted, and the accounting records are accurate.
Experience:
Required:
· 5+ years of experience of processing supplier invoices and managing a supplier ledger
· Experience of making bank payments using on-line banking software
· Experience of having performed general administration/reception duties
· Experience of working in a busy Company working to tight deadlines
· Microsoft experience (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, basic Excel)
· Basic accounting knowledge (Reconciliations and journal entries)
Preferred:
· Knowledge of MSGP
Key Responsibilities:
· Processing and paying supplier invoices to payment terms (6 Companies, including multicurrency)
· Payment runs (Bi-monthly and ad hoc)
· Updating, reconciling, and managing cash books (8 Bank accounts)
· Setting up new suppliers and managing supplier list
· Resolving internal and external invoice/payment queries
· Maintaining a clean Accounts Payable ledger
· Basic accounting
· Supporting managing facilities/procurement for the Stratford Upon Avon office
