Exciting opportunity to join this successful organisation in their Central Administration team. The office is based minutes from Blackfriars station, and has easy access across a number of underground and over-ground lines, making it easily accessible.

As a member of the 250-strong workforce you will work with the Office Manager and the rest of the Secretarial team in order to provide a full secretarial/administrative service to its Partners and their teams including members of the Secretarial team in a timely and efficient manner.

About you / your previous experience

  • The successful candidate must have at least three years’ experience at Secretary level, with a background in working for an Accountancy, or any other professional services company would be ideal or for the individual to have experience working in the Finance Industry
  • Ability to typing and word processing skills (minimum 55 wpm)
  • Our secretarial team work frequently with partners, so accuracy and attention to detail is essential
  • You must be able to showcase a positive, helpful and assertive manner when building relationships and liaising with stakeholders across the firm
  • It is also imperative you showcase the ability to work on your own initiative with a pragmatic approach to tasks and duties
  • Good communication skills in order to build relationships with stakeholders across the office and relevant teams
  • Good organisational skills - showing flexibility/ being able to prioritise
  • IT literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities:

  • You will be well experienced with typing - via shorthand notes, audio or copy - letters, accounts, file notes, reports and bills
  • You will assist and support other members of the Secretarial team as and when required.
  • Support with the arrangement of networking events for Partners and where appropriate produce PowerPoint Presentations, Tenders and excel spreadsheets
  • Provide cover for Reception/Switchboard when required, and field telephone calls and messages and liaise with clients where appropriate
  • Arrange refreshments and catering for meetings when required
  • Greet clients in reception for Partners
  • Outlook diary Management and arrange travel arrangements/hospitality
  • Photocopying, scanning and filing
  • Timesheet entry and report printing.
  • Arrange couriers with reception and assist with post room duties when required
  • Document management via CCH system for e-mails and correspondence
  • Prepare paperwork for meetings
  • Carry out ad hoc tasks/projects as required
